LURAY FIRE DEPARTMENT INC.

The Luray Fire Department is currently accepting rental applications for the building located at 22 Zerkle Street, Luray, Virginia, formally known as “Hawksbill Brewery”.

The first floor of the building, the rear storage area known as the “golden room”, side paved garden/patio and 5 designated parking spaces in the shared Luray Fire Department lot, will be leased upon terms set within the agreed lease between parties. No equipment and or furnishings are included and are owned by Hawksbill Brewery. Terms for purchase of equipment or other items owned by Hawksbill, will need to be negotiated with their owner.

Applications will be accepted until 5pm, Monday August 31, 2026.

Applications will be reviewed on September 8, 2026 by the Luray Fire Department Executive Committee.

Due to a current lease, a new lease for the premises will not be negotiated until at least November 1, 2026.

Click this link for a rental application. There is a $25.00 application fee payable to Luray Fire Department upon submission of rental application. Applications must be mailed to 1 Firehouse Lane, Luray, Virginia 22835. All information on application must be completed in order for the application to be considered. Incomplete application information will lead to automatic disqualification of consideration.
