The Luray Fire Department is currently accepting applications for membership of Senior Department and Jr. Department. Applications will be accepted beginning now thru June. Applications received by the June meeting will be voted on in July and applications received by the December meeting will be voted on in January.
Applicants that are accepted to senior membership with be made a probationary member, in July or January, for a period of 12 months. Interested individuals may pick up an application at the Fire Department.
There is a $5.00 application fee and a background check will be conducted. Applicants must be 16 years of age for the Jr. Department and 18 for the Senior Department.
